- Miles takes Winnie out in the rowboatto catch fish for breakfast. Miles tells her that he thinks he should do something important for the world. Winnie says that it would be nice if nothing had to die and Miles tells her that the world would be overcrowded with all kinds of life.

- Winnie meets Jesse and talks to her and after the Tucks kidnap her they take her to their to their house to explain and on the way.

- Mae tells about her story and every one else and Winnie gets her answer that they are immortal. There is also the man in the yellow suit hiding and heard everything and followed them.
