- Ponyboy was on the way home from the movies and he got jumped by a socs. They threaten to cut off all his hair .When he refuses he got pinned down in A hurtful position.
- Ponyboys was on his way home and he saw Johnny's jacket on the ground. He looked a little bit more and he found johnny laing on the ground. Without him realizing the rest of the gang was there.
- Ponyboy went to the drive in double. Johnny and ponyboy laid down in the lot and fell asleep looking at the stars. They didn't wake up until 2 am. When ponyboy got home darry hit him.
