- He wanted to be priest or doctor but during the university, he discovered a passion for the stuid? of plants, nature, sciences... He finally became scientist.
- 1831-1836
- He started a travel all around the world to explore and observe animals. It will influence the rest of his life!!

- He got married to his cousin Emma and together they will have ten children. And they lived in the Down house in Kent.
- When he came back, he worked with scientists and he wrotes thanks to his observations the "Diary and remarks".
