- Sir, we can't keep using energies like fossil fuels, we can't keep using something this harmful towards the community!
- I respect and understand your concern for people Samuel, but we can't just get rid of the world source of energy, there's nothing to replace it.
- well actually, Sir. There are several other methods to making energy that aren't fossil fuels.
- Really now? Go on.
- of course! There are a few alternative energy sources but the one I think is most effective, Solar Energy
- Solar..? Like, the sun?
- Of, course sir. The sun makes energy by doing something called nuclear fusion, where protons and hydrogen atoms collide, which makes a chain reaction that leads to the creation of a lot of energy
- Yes, the sun! we are able to use energy that is generated by the sun as a replacement for fossil fuels!
- Okay, but how much energy? and how exactly do we even obtain the energy from the sun so we can use it?
- Wait, wait, hold on Sam! how does the sun even make energy in the first place?
- All the sunlight that touches the earth in the span of an hour and a half can power the entire planet for a year. And we get the energy from these, Solar Panels.
- The panels use the photovoltalic cells in them to take in sunlight, and then turn it into energy and electricity
- I understand it now. Thank you a lot, Samuel, this really does have the potential to be the new way we can produce energy for the most part
