- I don't know when the next church mass is today. What will happen if I skip today?
- Religion in the Colonies
- This is a possible witch since this person decides not to go to church this day.
- But it's because I don't know where it is!
- Religion in the Colonies
- This is the house of one of the witches that we have found.
- But this was a good person that didn't do anything wrong
- One of the first major settlements of the Puritains was the Plymouth Colony which most of the people that lived here were extremly religious and devoted their lifes to God.
- Education in the Colonies
- A lot of people that looked or did something suspicius were tried for being a witch against God. These people were subject to harsh punishments including death.
- Education in the Colonies
- You might think that is bad, but I have to go all the way back to England to finish my education!
- Some lucker people might have been safe from the convictions but a number of others were killed and others died in jail. After this people came up with the idea that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

- I wish I was back in the Colonies and not on this ship!
- A lot of people that lived in the other colonies besides the New England Colonies had to get tutors to learn and get an education.
- How is it fair that people in the New England Colonies get public education, while I have a tutor.
- Other wealther familes would send their boys to England to finish their education and then come back to the Colonies, which was hard for some familes since that is less people that can work for the family like on a farm.
- That seems bad, but that does make me feel better.
- Because these boys went back to England their familes had a harder time to come by because it is one less person that is working on the farm which then means that there is less money.
