1) Characters: Zach, Bob, Billy, John, and workersSetting: Wendy's Zach, Bob, Billy, and John come up with the idea to go onto a trip to Hawaii after school grabbing a bite to eat at Wendy’s. They are all joyful and excited to start planning/going on this trip into the Pacific.

2) Characters: Bob, Billy, John, and ZachSettings: Pacific OceanThey head off the coast of southern California into the sea with their boat that has 2 motors and plenty off gas to get there. About halfway through the trip an engine breaks down and they are left to one. Shortly after a storm rolls through killing all their location and direction devices and the one motor is not strong enough to push through the storm so they drift off. At this point they are all really scared and nervous.

3) Characters: Zach, Bob, Billy, and JohnSetting: Remote IslandAfter 2 days drifting aimlessly they reach a remote island, it is about 5 square miles big. It is very hot and humid, there is some fruit trees, and small wildlife like birds, small pigs, and insects. They start to learn how to survive and adapt to this island while still trying to signal for rescue. They are in high spirits of getting rescued and they’re pretty optimistic.
