- Eddie tells Catherine out of love that her skirt was too short (pg.5) "You look like one of them girls that went to collage" (pg. 5) " Think its too short ain't it?" Eddie is protective over Catherine out of love
- "Eddie lunges with the knife. Marco grabs his arm, turns the blade inward and pressing it" (pg. 79) Eddie try's to kill Marco but while Eddie try's to stab him Marco takes eddies hand, turns it and makes Eddie stab himself
- "I worked like a dog twenty years so a punk could have her, so that's what i done" Eddie is jealous and dosin't want Catherine to be with Rodolpho, Alfieri trys to convince Eddie to just let her go, and let her grow up
