The problem:The sweatshop workers have very limited choices to provide for their family but it pays little money and has terrible working conditions.

Workers and buyers ask the boss to pay their workers more
The boss won't pay more because they are runnings a successful business and they just want more money

Mountains more of clothes wasted and in dumps
It's unlikely the boss will pay more to the workers
The business grows meaning more work for the employers
Allows them to provide for their family
But they need more money from the boss

So what can I do as an individual?
Buying from more sustainable places even if they have higher prices. There is a very helpful website called: "Good on you" which can help you find out what brands are good for the earth and which aren't
