Becoming the Emperor
Ah yes... finally I am the emperor!!!
Here you go, emperor.
Qin Shi Huangdi was known as the first Emperor. He had beaten all of the other seven kingdoms and united all of what was then China. They had been fighting for around 250 years, this was called the Warring States Period. China would most likely be much different with Qin Shi Huangdi as the emperor, great Wall of China probably wouldn't exist. Same goes for the Terracotta Army.

Building the Great Wall
YEAH!
YOU DIDN'T BUILD THIS, WE DID!!!
Look at this amazing wall I have built to keep invaders out!
Qin Shi Huangdi worked on making part of the Great Wall of China. He made it to keep invaders out from the North, which it worked pretty well. It was worked on for a total of 9 years during the Qin Dynasty, and much more later in history. Many of the people who worked on the Great Wall, didn't have a chose and were being forced to build as much as they could with many people dying as a result.

Building the Terracotta Army
Now there is no way I could loss a war after death!
As he got older and older, he got more and more afraid of death.Qin Shi Huangdi make the Terracotta Army to protect him after death. Much like the Great Wall of China, he forced many people work, specifically 700,000. Each of the 8,000 clay sculptings were based of a real person.
