So let’s hear it from you aera, from your own way of thinking, how do you see the Filipino family 20 years from now? Will it still remain the Filipino family the world knew?
Uhm, I don’t think it will still remain the Filipino family that the world knew 20 years from now...
Why do you say so?
Because, if you look at the Filipino family now, it is not the same as it was before; it is not as genuine as it used to be. They have hatred, rage, and misery for one other, and when they are outside, they are only displaying that they are very intimate, but when they are in their homes, the super tight family bond is not present; they are just portraying it for others, that's why.
So I feel it will be different in 20 years; yeah, they are still a family, but their relationship with each other is like a stranger to them. But I believe there are still families with strong, close, and joyful relationships, but I feel it is more prevalent with the relationship like a stranger.
So, what may be causing this Filipino family to fall apart?
The Filipino family is disintegrating because of how they mistreat each other, acting like strangers to them, their children, and their spouses. And I believe that's the main reason they're falling apart: they don't care about each other, preferring to live their own selfish lives without considering or worrying about others. And that is a red flag; even if they do not have a strong, loving, and close tie with each other, they should at the very least support one other for their benefit, particularly the children.
