- The "Arms Race" that took place between the U.S. and the Soviet Union was a test of each others weaponry and nuclear developments withour actually directly fighting. ("Cold" War meaning no militarisation) This relates to the States deterence policy that intimidated the Soviet or "detered" them so they wouldnt attack us. They and us both continued their developments on weapons, submarines, planes, and bombs even after the hydrogen bomb testings ended.
- ARMS RACE
- Before the Limited Nuclear test ban was signed, the soviets tested Tsar which stretec at least 200,000 feet high. This was way larger than the U.S.'s Castle Bravo at barley half that size.
