- This line mean that he has fears that he ceases to bring. He is facing his fears.This is important because the poem is talking about fears. It also discusses why he has them. It builds a theme by expressing his feelings towards the fears. He is showing emotions and  towards the fears.
- I have fears that i may cease to be
- This builds them by him stating what his fear is. He is expressing his fears. This is important to the poem so people can get an understanding of his fears. He is giving examples of his fears.  This line is showing something that is his fear. As we know now from the poem that high-pilled books is a fear for him.

- As we know communicate theme is presented in this poem. He is showing his fears and telling his fears. He is communicating his fears in with the poem. We also know that he is using imaging. He is using imaging by explaining and giving details of his fears.   
- We see in line 13 that ist is going back and reflecting on the fears. It is showing that he is fighting these fears. He is saying how he is standing alone. He fells like he is standing alone because of the fears that he is having in his head.
- This builds the theme by him stating that he cant look upon it. This is showing the readers how hard it can be to get over a fear. This is important for the readers to see just incase they feel like they are going through the same. He is explaining the fears in his life and where they have brought him now. This line means that it is hard for him to look past those fears that are stuck with him.
- That i shall never look upon thee more
- He is stating that he will sink if he does nothing with these fears.  Love is stronger than the fears that we have. This is important so; the readers know that they need to let go of there fears and not hold onto them. This line is showing the emotions behind the fears. It is showing how they can take over you.
- Till love and fame to nothingness do sink.
