- Brutus Speech-Ethos
- "Noble Brutus has stepped up to speak. Silence."
- Brutus Speech-Pathos
- "Caesar loved me , so i weep for him, Caesar had good fortune, so i celebrated it."
- Brutus Speech-Logos
- "Who here is so lowly that he would willingly be a slave?"
- This shows the power and authority Brutus holds over the citizens. It uses Ethos by giving credit to Brutus and showing respect for him by being silent when he has something to say. By using the word Noble, it gives Brutus name a sound of wisdom and reasoning.
- Antony Speech- Ethos
- "You all saw that during the feast of Lupercal, i presented him with a kingly crown three times, which he refused three times. "
- Brutus uses Pathos by talking of his love for Caesar. He shows his care for Caesars success and talks as though he was with Caesar every moment. By showing his connection to Caesar he connects to the crowd to prove that his action was or the best.
- Antony Speech-Pathos
- "When the poor would cry, Caesar would weep-"
- By asking rhetorical questions, Brutus leads people to ask themselves if they would have wanted a future with caesar. Each question has an obvious answer, but uses that to make a point rather than ask a question.
- Antony Speech-Logos
- "-ambition should be made of sterner stuff than that. Yet Brutus says he was ambitious."
- Antony gives Caesar credits by using examples from the past to show to path there future was on. He proves that Caesar's actions were nothing but good by using Ethos to enlighten the crowd. He shows Caesars nobility to Rome.
- By using an emotional moment he is better to connect with everyone in a more human leave. He does this to make Caesar the victim. Using pathos he shows Caesars loving and caring side.
- Finally when Antony makes his last point, he state none of these actions were ambition, this turns the people against Brutus. Logically is is correct and the people put each piece together. Antony makes it sure everyone is aware of what Ambition truly is.
