- For several days both sides hesitated to attack but then Miltiades(a Greek general)attacked and that started the 2 PERSIAN WAR.
- Even though the Greeks were out numbered from 11,000 to 15,000 they still took the win.Because they had better weapons and armour and had a better battle strategie.All the Persians had was was people with bows and arrows regular sword people and CALVARY.The Greeks stratige was to cover the Persians on three sides.
- Then when it ended a Greek citizen ran all they way back to the AGORA and the run was 26.3 miles.then he shouted out nike that meant victory.
