- On Palm sunday jesus enters jerusalem on a donkey, as the people waved branches of palm and olive trees to welcome him. On holy thursday Jesus did the washing of the feet and did the last supper with the disciples. On good friday Jesus was crucified. On holy saturday Jesus was wrapped in a long cloth’shroud’ and buried in a tomb and the Easter candle is lit.
- On Easter sunday Jesus rose from the dead. Then Mary went to jesus tomb to go see him but when she got there, jesus wasn’t there but an angel. The angel said to mary “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.
- After, Jesus rose he found two of his disciples walking to emmuas but god kept the disciples form knowing it was him. The disciples were talking about what had happened to jesus in the past week. Then jesus came and said to them all of the scriptures form the bible. By the time they got to emmaus it was getting dark so the disciples asked jesus to stay with them. when they got to the house jesus blessed the bread and the disciples recognised him. Then jesus dissapeared and the disciples ran back to jerusalem and told the rest of the disciples what happened and then jesus appeared with them. Jesus told them to stay in jerusalem for 40 days until the holy spirit comes. So that the disciples will have ever lasting life in heaven. Jesus influences us to be more like him so we can live in heaven.
