- George and Linnie are on their way to their new job but they stop for the night and make camp.
- Linnie will you please put down the dead mouse.
- Once Linnie and George arrive at their new job Geroge is scared that they won't get the job because of Linnie's disability so George comes up with a plan.
- Yes sir, Linnie was kicked in the head and he is a little slow but he is a very hard worker.
- George and Linnie get the job and the boss induces them to his son Curley and his new wife.
- Guys I would like to introduce you to my family
- Here you go, Linnie, I got you a puppy
- One of the ranch hands offers to give Linnie a puppy.
- Lennie gets into a fight with Curley and not know his own strength breaks his hand.
- Let go you are hurting me
- Once again Linnie not knowing his own strength kills the puppy.
- NO NO NO NO I didn't mean to kill the puppy
