The Dawes act took our land and told us we have to farm instead of hunting they told us the Dawes severalty act has passed the goverment and that the whites will take more land from us than they ever did now we are living off of farms and hardwork
This is not fair you cannot take our land away from us this was our land first until you showed up and took it all and now you've forced us to farm

we have given you land you shall take it and use it for your farms

You are lucky enough that we are letting you in this school and not using those "other" ways of learning we are teaching you the right way of life instead of your cultural way
we did not ask to be turned into you whites we want to be ourself and learn our way we didn't ask to have our hair cut or wear formal clothing we want to learn how to hunt and build tipis from our grandad's or uncles we wanted to be independent not learn your way of life
