Storyboard-Text

- Rising action
- Conflict
- Maple street is a small street, like many places all over the world. There are many people there, and life seems to be going fine; but once an odd sound is heard by everybody, this small town takes a bad turn. The human nature of the people makes them turn on each other, and chaos breaks out.
- Climax
- A man named Steve Brand, his neighbor, Don Martain, and his wife, mrs. Brand are outside when they hear something that sounds like a meteor, but they don't know yet. Everybody seems to have heard the sound, and many people come outside. They assume it's fine but they don't know what truly happened.
- Falling action
- The power is out and no devices and radios are working and people can't decide what to do. Steve wants to lead the people, but a person named Charlie does too. Everybody has different opinions and chaos has broken out. Everybody turns on each other and accuses other people. A young boy named Tommy worries everyone with the plot of a book he read.
- Resolution
- Charlie gets a shotgun to defend himself. Everybody disagrees with him but he keeps it. He shoots a man named Pete Van Horn, and everybody gets mad at him. Everybody turns on him and he tries to defend himself.
- People are fighting over who is the alien. Everybody thinks somebody else is bad and dissention is spreading. People are accusing Tommy as being an alien.
- The aliens watch over as the humans destroy themselves. They talk about how maple street is just a normal street and this will work anywhere. They say they don't need to do anything to destroy humanity, because they will do it themselves.
