It was a sunny morning in 2023. A little girl named Lily was playing in her garden. Suddenly, she heard a small "meow". She looked around and saw a tiny, fluffy kitten hiding under a bush.

Lily carefully picked up the kitten. It was very scared and alone. She took it inside her house. Her mom gave the kitten some milk. Lily decided to keep the kitten and named it Snowball.
Every day after that, Lily and Snowball played together. They became the best of friends. In the evening, before bedtime, Lily would always cuddle with Snowball.One afternoon in 2024, while playing in the park, Snowball ran off to chase a butterfly. Lily looked everywhere, but she couldn't find Snowball. She was very sad.

Lily was so happy to see Snowball again. She hugged him tightly. From that day on, Lily always kept a close watch on her little friend.
The next day, Lily put up posters with Snowball's picture all over the neighborhood. A few days later, on a Tuesday evening, a kind old man called Lily. He had found Snowball near his house!
