Hello worker, It's finally my day. How am I going to enter though?
Today is the day for coal mining. Coal is formed from the remains of old plants from millions of years ago that gathered in swampy environments. Over time, these plant layers were buried by layers of sediments and subjected to intense heat. People like me dig up coal to use as a fuel source, mainly for electricity for people.

Where does all the coal even go and what do you do with it?
This factory is where we take the coal that we dug up and burn them in big groups. When coal is being burnt the carbon in the coal combines with oxygen to form carbon dioxide which then gets released into the atmosphere, this process is called combustion. We do this to generate electricity for people like you.

As a plant, I'm able to transform light energy into chemical energy. The light energy comes from the sun, which allows me to capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, this process is called photosynthesis. I also like to use light energy to convert carbon dioxide from the atmosphere into glucose and other organic compounds. In my leaves and roots is where carbon gets stored and, in my stems is where glucose is stored.
