- Grete brings food to Gregor. She brings a variety of food including rotten and moldy food.
- Grete puts Gregor's chair it by the window for him and she cleans his room.
- He needs more space. I think taking the furniture out was a good idea.
- I had to get this sales job to help my family. I don't have time to take care of Gregor. He's such a burden.
- You don't need to clean his room, mother! That's my job and I'll get to it when I can!
- We have 3 boarders now so all this stuff has to be stored here.
- I can't believe he came out of his room! He's disgusting! Now the boarders are upset!
- It is time to get rid of that monster! We've done enough!
- The next morning the cleaning lady discovers that Gregor has died.
- The cleaning lady cleans and restores the room.
- We got rid of the boarders. The cleaning lady will be next and we've written letters to our employers letting them know we're taking the day off!
- They take a trip out to the country. Grete's parents notice that she's grown into a beautiful young lady ready for marriage.
