A storm sends Odysseus and his men to the Land of the Lotus Eaters. The natives give the men the fruit of the Lotus, which makes them loose all thought of home and keeps them wanting more fruit.
The Sirens
Odysseus and his men get stranded on the land where the cyclops lives. The cyclops kill some of his men. Odysseus gets the cyclops drunk and hits him in the eye with a spear.
Scylla and Charybdis

Odysseus arrives at the Land of the Dead. Souls begin to gather around him, Odysseus offers the flesh of sheep to gods until Thebes arrives. He tells Odysseus that he will face 25 obstacles on his way back to Ithaca because Poseidon is angry about what he did to the cyclops.
Cattle of the Sun God
I sure do hope nobody betrays my trust and kills the cattle...
The men wear wax in their ears to avoid the sounds of the sirens, but curiosity gets the best of Odysseus so he has his men tie him down to be able to hear the song of the sirens.
DO NOT UNTIE ME!!!!
Charybdis, the huge whirlpool, threatens to swallow the whole ship. Odysseus meets Charybdis and Scylla. Scylla eats six of his men, and Odysseys almost gets stuck in the whirlpool but manages to escape.
As Odysseus slept, Eurylochus convinced the other men to eat the cattle of the Sun. Once Odysseus found out, the roles of him and Eurylochus became reversed.
