*scoffs* And yet, the barista is barely making enough to afford the drinks they sell! Capitalism only survives off the exploitation of hard labor. And who reaps the benefits? The owners!

Karl has a point, Adam. Industrial capitalism was cruel. That's why I wanted socialism that advocated for fair wages and cooperative communities. Sure, capitalism creates wealth but at what cost?
Ha! Yeah right, Adam. Communism will create true equality with no exploitation and NO private ownership.
To be fair, Karl, your vision of communism ignores the basic nature of humans. People don't share everything out of goodwill, there has to be some sort of incentive. That's why socialism would work a better than communism because there's a bit more incentive for the people.

And communist economies have, in the past, led to inefficiency, shortages, and depression. Innovation dies without competition.
Well....fine! I guess we can have our own opinions.... *mutters* even if they're wrong.
