- Miranda is questioned about his connection to a kidnapping and rape. The police never informed him of is ability to obtain an attorney.

- After 2 hours of questioning, the police obtained a written confession from Miranda

- I find Ernesto Miranda guilty.
- The written confession was used as evidence in the trial despite objection from Mirandas defense attorney. As a result of the trial, Miranda was found guilty.
