I read in an article that the forest service of Monongahela west Virginia is in charge of the clear cutting in that area. They plan to cut more than 5,000 acres in Monongahela.

I found out that most of the clear cutting in the U.S is done in Monongahela forest in west Virginia.
I just found out what happens during clear cutting in the Monongahela forest. They clear out all of the trees in the selected area in the Monongahela forest and then they sell the logs to the local commercial hardware stores.
That's crazy I didn't realize how much went into clear cutting.

Clear cutting is happening because it's the most efficient and most profitable way to cut down trees so they can sell the lumber to local commercial stores.
The way clear cuttings happening in Monongahela forest is by them clearing out a section of the forest.
I was wondering why clear cutting was relevant to the U.S and I found out that it helps the U.S forest systems to to help regenerate species that cannot compete in mature forest
