What effect do they have on others ?
At the beginning of chapter fourteen, Kennedy was asking Stella about her past and if her mom taught her how to make cakes and Stella says, “ We were poor” ( Bennett 268). Every time Kennedy asks about the past Stella always dismisses and gets mad at Kennedy if she asks to many questions regarding to the past. This can make Kennedy feel unnoticed and less important.
How does the character look?
As Jude is working in the theater Shoveling popcorn into bag she finally sees Stella, " Stella wore a long green dress, her hair pulled into a low bun. Diamond earrings, black pumps(Bennett 246). Stella dresses fancy now because of the woman she is now.

In Chapter fourteen Kennedy gives the photograph of Stella and Desiree of them being at their father's funeral and Stella says, "
