- Gentrification is the process of transforming a poor, working-class neighborhood into a prosperous urban district that attracts new inhabitants and businesses. The graphic above depicts the transformation of an impoverished urbanized region into a more luxurious environment.
- Rural
- Greenbelt is to limit the sprawl of an urban region, a ring of land is preserved as parks, farms, or other sorts of open space. The image above shows the qualities of a greenbelt, including animals, and plants, the ecosystem.
- Suburb
- Tenements are structures or complexes that house large numbers of people or families with the bare minimum of cleanliness and safety. Because of the awful living circumstances in the surrounding area and within the tenement, the image above depicts this.
- CBD
- A rural area is one that is in the countryside, away from any larger cities or towns. Isolated fields for farming, agriculture, and livestock are typical in these areas. This is depicted as an agricultural area in the countryside with livestock and crops in the image above.
- A suburb is a neighborhood on the outskirts of a city that includes commercial and business districts but is primarily residential. The image above depicts a nice neighborhood with a large number of residents that is located further from a CBD and appears to be a smaller community with local folks.
- CBD is a business district with many firms. It is at the city's center according to the concentric zone model. The image above shows the qualities of a CBD, including dense population, services, and offices.
