  •   Good morning class, today we will be having our group reporting about "The revolution of Philippine politics" were you are about to discuss the summary of our lesson this week.  You may now start!

  • Good morning, our group will be discussing the "evolution of Philippine politics'.
  • With the entrance of Spanish immigrants, a period of Spanish expansion started, culminating in the establishment of the Captaincy General of the Philippines, based in Manila. While nominally part of New Spain, the Philippines operated independently for the most part.
  • The evolution of philippine politics in early polities in what is now the Philippines were local entities known as barangays, while some bigger governments arose as a result of regional trade networks following the introduction of Hinduism and Islam.
  • The legislative branch, the executive branch, and the judicial branch are the three independent but interrelated parts of the government. Executive authority is exerted by the government under the direction of the president.
