And without music to my ear, my heart gives a horrid screech,Makes my mom mad, and I feel guiltyShe took away my phone leaving me confound, and I was amazed indeedThe long days and nights I lay with eyes and ears filled with tears. Yet I, Felt dull and muddy without TikTok, and Insta, wanting to get a peek
Like a lion, my mum screams, unaware of my loss, And I can say nothing - no, not even a thing,Upon her repeated warnings, I still did not thrive A damned mistake was made. Am I a fool? Friends call me “insane”. Breaks my heart across.
Plucks off my senses and blows it in the air, My mom tweaks me by the nose, and gives back my phoneAs deep as to my soul, a huge smile across my face aroseYa! ‘Swounds, I should take my phone and use it wisely, for it belongs to me
But now I am gentle and lack gallMobile obsession is bitter, I have learnt this I should have realized it earlier, before going on sleepless nights This mobile addiction. Bloody, bawdy pain!Let’s kill our treacherous addictions, and let kindness remain!
