- Hear is me and daddy going inside the Hospital to get my Tonsils removed but I,am scared.

- My name is Briella.On Wednesday, I will go to a special hospital in New York City with Daddy.This hospital is called David H. Koch Center.

- First, we will walk into the hospital and check in.I will get a bracelet with my name on it.This helps the doctors and nurses remember who I am.

- Then I will go to the 6th floor and meet some nurses.They will help me get ready.I will change into hospital pajamas and cozy socks.I might get my height and weight measured. That is okay.

- I am going to the hospital because I need a small procedure to help my throat and breathing.A doctor named Dr. Jones will help me while I am asleep.She is very good at helping kids like me.

- To help me feel calm and safe, I will take something called anesthesia.Anesthesia is sleepy medicine.It helps me nap while the doctors do their job.

- Some kids breathe sleepy medicine through a mask.Some kids get a tiny straw called an IV in their hand or arm.The doctors and nurses will decide what’s best for me.

- One grown-up can stay with me while I fall asleep.My job is to take slow, deep breaths.The doctors will take care of me while I sleep.
