Republic
The roman citizens would vote on the people who would make the decision for their city
Rome was so great, but fell, from so many problems. From the invaders in the north and Odoacer, who took the throne. Also from the money problem were your coin was so worthless. Also political problems caused people less education and other things. So many problems from all those horrible leaders like Caligula which lead to the end, but you left so many legacies behind.

Rome was one of the first empires that made Judges be fair.
There was also a republic where the citizens would vote for the people who would make decisions. The United States still uses it today in their democracy were they vote for a president.

Roads were a legacy of Rome and helped us move much quicker and helped us get to the whole kingdom a quick as possible
You also had great military strategies with your big legions of 5,000 men who were strong. The United States still uses many of these tactics today.
You also had judges that were fair and not biased. Even if a person had more money they were not allowed to bribe the judge. The U.S. still uses this today where judges are not biased and can not be bribed.
You also created roads that would help your people get from one place to the next as quickly and comfortably as possible. This also provided good trade for the empire. The U.S. uses this today with our roads that are safe, comfortable. and can transport goods.
