Breaking News: Oil spills in California and sea otters are being harmed and endangered.
NEWS
Breaking News a boat's pipe leaked oil into an area in Cali where sea otters live.
Here is a live cam of the otters. As you can see they are covered in oil and cannot clean their fur to keep warm and are dying.
Roger the sea otters are already on the endangered list and we made it worse.
I know I feel so bad and it seems that they are not able to breathe because the oil is covering the surface and they are gonna die.
I need to get these otters out of the oil and wash them off.
This otter seems a lot better after her clean but we need to make sure these oils happen less.
Yes they can die from not cleaning their fur because that is what keeps them warm. But now you know.
We are so sorry for the mess we caused. We now understand why they get harmed by oil.
