- The Indus river flows across the northwest edge of the Indian subcontinent . In the Indus valley monsoons flood the Indus river and destroying crops and homes but leaving fertile soil.

- Each person in India has their own caste or jobs and you are stuck with that job for the rest of your life and if you marry somebody out of your caste you will become a untouchable.
