- The settlers who created Plymouth were the Pilgrims. They landed on the coast of Cape Cod. The Pilgrims created Plymouth for fur, fish, and lumber. They also settled in Plymouth because of their religious beliefs. In England they were forced to believe in the Church of England. That was not their religion though, they were Puritan. This is the main reason why they settled in Plymouth.
- Their major problem was that there was not enough food, it was cold, and the Pilgrims had to live aboard the Mayflower. The Mayflower was the ship they sailed to Plymouth. About half of the people on the Mayflower died from sickness.
- I would help the Pilgrims by helping them build their houses. I would do this so they wouldn't have to live on the Mayflower. It would also help the Pilgrims settle into Plymouth. Therefore, it would help if I helped them build their houses.
