- The quartering act required colonists to buy food and supplies do there laudry and give them quarters the colonists saw this as the last straw with britain
- The navigation act required the colonists to buy everything from Britain. so a lot of families had a butcher a farmer and a smuggler
- -The sugar act made molasses very expensive to import because it was the only way to sweeten tea in the 1600-1800 because sugar cane is tropical and Britain did not discover Hawaii
