Jade and Maxine both go to the bakery. The reason they go is so that when they go to a party they will have food. Maxine gets a dozen scones and then asks Jade what she wants. Jade orders a chocolate ganache cake, Maxine says great pick my dad will love that.
Maxine and her mother start arguing about Maxine not having a real job. Maxine says jade needs this in her life. Just as her mom was going to talk about kicking her out Nathan walks in. In the car, Jade realizes that#160; Maxine is using her to make her feel good about herself
When Jade and her mom are eating her mom asks how is woman to woman going. Jade tells her mom she is thinking of quitting. her mom says then there is no reason to quit. then they argue for a while, jade proceeds to not go to the next 2 meetings. she tells Maxine that its homework related when in reality she doesn't want to go.
