- Eric gets drunk and meets Eva (who goes by Daisy.)
- Drunken Eric goes into Daisy's room and gets her pregnant
- Daisy (Eva) tells Eric that she is pregnant and Eric gives her money he stole from his father. But Eva doesn't accept the money due to morals
- Mrs. Birley does not like Daisy because she goes under a false name (Mrs. Birley) and claims to be married which makes Mrs. Birley not like her more. (This happens when Eva arrives at Mrs. Birley's charity.
- Inspector Goole goes to the Birley house to investigate the death of Eva smith and the family feel no remorse.
