Mens Reas and Actus Reas (intent) Comic

My comic show actus reus and mens reas with intent. The comic shows an armed robber walking into a convenience store and commiting an armed robbery and then is caught by the police. The actus reas is established because the guy in the strip clothing is committing an armed robbery for some cash at a convenience store. The armed robber also posses the required mens reas because he intended to rob the store for cash as he wanted to get more money. The robber will be convicted with armed robbery which is an indictable offence as he violated section 344(a) of the criminal code which states that "Every person who commits robbery is guilty of an indictable offence and liable if a restricted firearm or prohibited firearm is used in the commission of the offence or if any firearm is used in the commission of the offence and the offence is committed for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with, a criminal organization." Therefore, the person will face a maximum punishment of life imprisonment and a minimum imprisonment term if its the first offence which is 5 years.
