Hi, I'm a sperm; call me Spax. My friends and I have just been ejaculated from the testes and we are on our way to the vagina.
By the way this is a race so whoever gets there first fertilized the egg. Not everyone can continue though, some can't handle the acids.
I wonder how far I'll get I'm actually in the uterus.
Once the sperm exits the penis, it begins the journey to the ovum (egg). Approximately hundreds of millions of sperms are released and they begin the journey to the vagina.
Now you see there are two tubes but I don't know which one to choose. Uhhh..I'm just gonna go left.
At this stage on arrival in the vagina, millions of sperm will die due to the highly acidic environment. The lucky sperm will venture onwards to the cervix due to a special fluid surrounding them.
Oh my gosh! The end is near! The battle will soon be over:)
Through the cervix and into the uterus at last. At this point the race continues but many sperm died along the way.

There are two fallopian tubes. The sperm now has to go through one of them to get to the ovary which houses the egg.
As the goal is now clear, the sperm approach the egg inside the ovary. Only the first sperm to arrive will be allowed to enter. Who will get there first?
Finally, the sperm arrives and the process of fertilization begins.
