At this stage thinking becomes much more logical , it can also be very rigid. At this point in development we tend to struggle with abstract and hypothetical concepts.
We also learn to begin to thinking logically about concrete event and understand the concept of conservation. We began thinking becomes more logical and organized, but still very concrete. We will also use inductive logic, or reasoning from specific information to a general principle.

At this stage we gain the ability to think about abstract ideas and situations. We also get the ability to systematically plan for the future and reason about hypothetical situations.
