- HA HA HA! Enough standing around, let's get this show on the road!
- John Hyde is Cryptaman, son of Chase Hyde, an FBI agent, and Shadow, a powerful queen from The World of Spirits.
- Cryptaman was taught his power of invisibility from birth. He can become completely invisible in the eyes of his enemies, a power he was given by his mother, and his father's FBI training taught him to use clues to solve crimes and save lives. He can read minds and erase memories when he's invisible and is as fast as a cheetah.
- John's home is made of many windows so he can keep an eye out for criminals. He calls himself Cryptaman. He stays invisible as long as he remains dry. Water will expose him and put him in grave danger of being seen by his enemies. He must avoid the reflection off diamonds from direct sunlight as it will kill him. His archenemy is Polyclone.
