- "Murder murder," he said. Macduff was the one who discovered Duncan's death. He was left in shock and disbelief due to this horrific scene and quickly went to inform others.
- Everyone found out about Duncan's death and were in shock. Was it and enemy or a close friend who had killed Duncan? and what was their reason to commit such problematic murder .
- "Betrayal never comes from an enemy , but rather from a friend" . Macbeth and Lady Macbeth were the main planners of the meaningless killing of Duncan. Macbeth, A man who was promised to have a bright and shinning future ahead of him that was prophesized by the three witches, had now planted a seed he must reap. Macbeth was now at war with himself mentally and this was greater that any battle he had been in or fought before .
- Lady Macbeth was left angry for her husband was showing signs of regret and was seemingly asking for forgiveness.
- Macbeth was now paying the consequences of his murder. He had now devised a plan to kill Banquo and his son ; A solider who's loyalty couldn't be measured , but the high ambitions were now turning him into an envious friend Hence, He sent two men to kill Banquo and Fleance on their way to his banqet.
- "Evil never pay's off" Banquo was all most sure that everything would go according to plan .However, Banquo was killed ,but Fleance escaped . Macbeth was now worried when he got informed by the killers that Fleance had gotten away because there was still a possibility of the prophecy that was expected of Banquo having kids that will one day be king.
