The Sepoy Mutiny
We will not use your ammunition!!
In 1857, Sepoys rebelled against the East India Company due to poor treatment and their ammunition. Most sepoys were either Muslim or Hindu, and the ammunition was greased with pig or cow fat. Hindus consider cows sacred, and Muslims consider pigs impure, which is why the ammunition couldn't be used.
