- But it's not as if they're runners or something. They're brown, they're... quite sensible.
- I bought these before I knew about the shoe colour policy here at Synge Street...

- They're not black.
- Sing Street - Visibly Confused
- I'm not sure what you want me to do.
- Wide shot of Conor calmly explaining why he wore brown shoes instead of black shoes to school. Silence except for his speech.

- Take them off. You can leave them at the door there.
