Today 8G are welcoming a new student
Miss Mottrom introduced Julie to the class but all the students continued their work and did not acknowledge Julie.
At lunch, Michael talks to all his friends about the new girl in his class, Julie. They were all confused as they have never had a disabled classmate.
At lunchtime, everyone from 8G played in the park expecpt Julie.
Michael had to leave school early today due to his grandfather falling down the stairs at home. This really upset Michael as they were extremely close.
They arrived at the hospital to find Grandpa in a bad way. The doctor explained to them that Grandpa has a very high chance of living the rest of his life in a wheelchair. James couldn't believe it!
After seeing his Grandpa in such a bad way, Michael can't stop thinking about the new girl in his class. He can't understand why he didn't include her with his friends.
After returning Michael notices Julie still hadn't made any friends. He feels guilty and realises he should include her with his friends.
Michael and Julie are now best friends. Micahel discovered they had so much in common even though they never seemed alike.
Julie really appreciated a friend like Michael, they also hung out after school. She trusted him, and together they worked togehter to make Julie happy and included at her new school.
