Here I depicted myself in the story as someone that criticized the movement, such people contributing tremendously to the fight for freedom and justice for Japanese Americans. Using the skills I learned like the use of form and structure; I was able to create a clear timeline from one panel to the other. The first panel utilized the use of an image that resembles a subject, a picture to represent President JFK and show the moment where he addressed the country and sparked the nationwide paranoia that would end up being used as justification to persecute the Japanese American population. In the second panel, I use a slightly different approach by utilizing the element of time and illustrating a large time jump to more effectively depict how intense and sudden the event was for those involved.
