- When Ellie was born she spent the first few weeks in a crate with her mother and her brothers and sisters.
- After a few weeks she was put is a bow with her brothers and sisters and was taken out side. There she met her father. She also got put through a test and got picked to b a search and rescue dog.
- The police officer that picked Ellie is named Jacob, he put her in a crate and they went to his house.
