- I am so nervous!! I am not ready for middle school!
- It was 6th grade Registration Day at Henderson Middle School. I would start middle school for the first time in 5 days.
- This school is so big!
- Mom, I don't see my name on any of the class lists!
- Don't worry. We will talk to the counselor. We will work it out.
- We meet with the counselor and she confirms that I have not been put in a class.
- Don't worry. We will put you in a class and we will call you on Friday.
- But I start school on Monday!
- It is Friday afternoon and the school still hasn't called...
- Why haven't they called!
- I need to know now!
- Look! your name is on the list!
- On Sunday, I still hadn't heard from the school so my Dad took me to see if the list was posted.
- You'll figure it out! You've got this! .
- Yea, but I don't even know where my classes are located and the school is locked!
- Monday morning before the first day of school.....
- Are you ready for school?
- I am nervous and I don't feel very well.
- EEEEEKK!
- The school bus has just arrived...
- I can't go to school. I feel sick.
- You can do this. Now get on the bus. You will be fine.
- Mom, can you come get me?
- By the time Kate arrives at school on the bus, she is sick to her stomach so she calls her mom from the Attendance Office.
- OK, I will try.
- Kate, I know you can do this. Just make it through the day.
- Kate has made it through her first day of middle school!
