- We arrived at our new home, and though my family seemed to be adjusting well, I still felt empty.
- Shocked that I had found friends who appreciated me for me, something in me began to change.
- No longer did I feel isolated. I felt loved by others and by myself. These people allowed me to express my individuality without judgment.
