Long ago in the Land of Lydia there lived King Midas. King Midas was rather on the greedy side.
Gold! I say, I need more of it.
One day while walking through the Palace garden, King Midas spotted a strange beast lying in his garden.
I sat down for a drink.
I shall tell your master at once.
Explain yourself! At once!
The beast, which is known as Silenus, propose to make a deal with Midas.
Lets make a deal.
I suppose we can.
A few weeks later the king decided to send the satyr on his way back to Dionysus.
Yes sir.
You have done your job. Now off you go.
For the returning the satyr back to Dionysus, Dionysus decided to grant Midas a wish. Of course the king being greedy, he wished for anything that he touches will be turned in to gold.
I want the golden touch.
Any wish you want. shall be granted, but beware evils waites.
King Midas decided to experiment and started to touch everything he could put his.
Any thing i touch turns to GOLD!!!
From all of the excitement, King Midas sat down for a drink, but something was wrong, everything he attempted to eat or drink would turn to gold.
How will I eat, Or drink?
Just in that moment, Midas daughter runs up and hugs her dad even with a loud "STOP" coming from her beloved father. Turning from the horrible sight Midas drops to his knees and began to beg.
What have I done? Take this gift back please.
Okay I will.
Just go to the river and wash the curse away.
